How to Set Up a Private ACC Server
in Just 10 Minutes

This 10-minute guide shows you how to launch your own Assetto Corsa Competizione dedicated server – step by step, no fluff.

What You Need

✔ Steam account + ACC purchased
✔ Windows PC or VPS
✔ 10 GB free space
✔ Ability to forward 2 ports

Option 1 – Fastest (Steam, 5 min)

Open Steam → Library → Tools filter
Search Assetto Corsa Competizione Dedicated Server → Install
Direct link
Folder: ...\steamapps\common\Assetto Corsa Competizione Dedicated Server\server\cfg

Option 2 – Clean / VPS (SteamCMD)

Download SteamCMD → extract to C:\SteamCMD
Run and paste:

login anonymous
force_install_dir C:\ACC_Server
app_update 1430110 validate
quit

Critical: Save ALL .json in UTF-16 LE (Notepad++ → Encoding → UTF-16 LE)

Ports & Launch

Open in router + firewall:

→ UDP 9231
→ TCP 9232

Launch accServer.exe directly → connect in ACC → Multiplayer → Dedicated Servers

Web Admin Panel (accweb) – Browser Control

Download: GitHub accweb
Edit config.yml (ACC path, port, password)
Run → open http://your-ip:8080

7-Step Checklist

Install from Steam Tools or SteamCMD
Go to server\cfg
Edit 3 JSON files
Save in UTF-16 LE
Open UDP 9231 + TCP 9232
Run accServer.exe
Test LAN → ask friend to join externally
